"Walk" "Text"
I’ve had a cellular phone for 20 years ( the old brick phone). Never sent a text in my life…To me it’s just as easy to call.

besides - I have fat fingers and small keyboard.
But why aren’t they walking and texting at the same time?
The new signs also make two different chirping sounds. The WAIT chirp is to remind you to stop and tweet and the WALK chirp is to get your attention away from the phone.
Don’t text and avoid drivers at the same time.
