And thus, the Sabre tooth tigers became extinct BEFORE the Woolly Mammoth.No wonder cats are so cautious now.
This mammoth was standing in the LaBrea tar pit when I visited in 1988 — it hasn’t moved since, so I guess it must be touching bottom!.
