So, tomorrow we will see Mr. Christian and the conservatives head out for Pitcairn Island, where they will be free? And, in no danger of contradiction?
The Republican Party is finally starting to realize that Pandering to the Right most Loonies only makes them unelectable. I cheered to hear the Mr. Boehner maintained his position.
There are plenty of us Moderate Republicans that really want a smaller less intrusive government. The far right wing talk about smaller government but they are first in line to advance Federal Laws that limit our rights and freedoms; Think here: Abortion, Drugs, Marriage, etc.
Daily Show: Legal scholar Cass Sunstein discusses his research on groupthink, the subject of his book Wiser: Right wingers who talk to right wingers get farther right.
^It was a good interview, gon’na check out the book, but it’s not new information in pscyhology. Long knownt that “left”, ""right", or whatever, Muslim, Chrisian, Jew, those who only feed from their own group DO swing further into radicalist idealogy, heck, even “Trekkies” go to conventions to feed into their obsessions, not critical analysis of their behaviors. KKK, ISIL, NRA, and hundreds of other organizations and alignments, same-o.
Boehner is indeed herding cats, but singing “Memory” and there really isn’t any “new day” beginning. That rope to the crate in the ’toon is just another communication link, not isolation.
