An earnest young lady once told me that if one of her preschoolers asks her what God is, her response is, “God created all things”. Which seemed to impress and satisfy the tots, but if you think about it, there are problems. It means that God has a lot of ’pologizing to do. (Does the world really need 1.3 million species of gall flies? And Guinea worm?)
