In most modern cars the back seat is divided by a gap between the seats giving each child their own personal space. Back when I was a kid we didn’t have that luxury, so my mom and dad found a different way of stopping my brother and I from fighting. They placed a wooden paddle between us as a visual reminder to behave while on the road.
Millie will realize this later in the trip…..Even more annoying things to do……Are we there yet??I got to pee. (Just passed the only bath room for miles, refuse to go on the side of the road, and the next turn around is 30 miles away and you cant cross the median…center barrier)I am thirsty, hungry, bored, (add your own)The secret is to start slowly then build to a mind numbing rate that will make hitting an 18 wheeler head on as the most immediate relief.
