The media haven’t seen the need for a bucket of water in a long time, when they can reach for a firehose spraying gasoline instead. Kent State, Yosemite, West Yellowstone, hmm, I can thnk of a numer of riots that had nothing to do with “race” issues. But I was around for the two Watts riots, and it was irresponsible media that laid the groundwork for both of them, and “outsiders” who were doing the looting and rioting. Ferguson, much the same.
And, having been trained in riot control, key factor being stopping the fomentation BEFORE a riot starts is the KEY, over-reaction by both law enforcement, AND the “populace” is the fodder for media outlets.
Okay Steve you nailed this one. It’s another demonstration of how much damage major Media can do when their spokespeople (not journalists) blather carelessly with no discernment whatsoever.
