These days many people don’t FOR, we vote AGAINST. It’s so much easier for a candidate to point to (and exaggerate) an opponent’s flaws than to spell out specifically what good things he himself would do. But hasn’t it always been this way? The increasing use of widely spread negative smear ads, increasingly from “Citizens For” groups just make it more obvious.
