This November, and again in 2016, how many of us will stand by watching this oppression play out? How many Germans stood by in 1933-1934 as the government began passing, and enforcing, their new racial laws?. As I have posted before, in the last 30 years or so, our state and federal pols have gotten so brazen in their graft, “conflicting interests” and jettisoning decades-old regulations to let the banks run amok, that they are no longer even bothering to try to hide their actions! They do it now in clear view, smug in the knowledge that after some grumbling, we will let it pass and go back to voting on “American Idol”!
If the republicans pull off another contested election win by these groundless Voter Suppression “laws”, we will indeed have surrendered our freedom in this nation!
