The ’toon has it right, and “leaders” like Boehner, McConnell, Aschroft, Perle (AEI) and the right wingers preaching more fear, with a dose of religion (but only the “right” one) thrown in, are the ones responsible.
Churchie: so chickenhawks like Cheney, Rove, Perle, Feith, “W”, et all have sand under their eyelids, and that’s why they send others out to fight and die, in the wrong countries, against the wrong “enemies”??
It IS kinda’ interesting that chickenhawks always attack those who’ve actually served in combat, and in law enforcement, to protect the country, and serve the people, while they attack from under their rocks, wiping slime off their fingers to hold a pen, or keep from destroying their keyboards or touch screens.

Those in leadership positions are failing this country. Fear mongering is piss poor leadership, yet it seems to be the norm.
