My cats are the same way – we’ve given up buying expensive kitty beds and just use cardboard boxes, primarily from Aldi, with some old cloth diapers for bedding…works wonders! My retired drug K-9 prefers an old loveseat over fancy AKC-approved therapeutic doggy beds….sigh. Ah well, family!

Try putting that old pillow bed he sleeps on in the new basket. That should work.
