Looks like Lula isn’t making some people back home happy either judging by their press coverage. No matter, he’s only in office for another 6 months, already serving his 2nd & last term.
Curious to see his reception in Israel next week.
^ As in getting a nuclear weapon? Not anymore, not since the late ’70s & ’80s and the end of Solimões project in an accord with the other South American nuclear weapon power aspirant at the time, Argentina.
It now only has a single nuclear site with a couple of power plants and no known aspiration for nuclear weapons.
However, President Lula da Silva of Brazil is well known to dislike the Non-Proliferation Treaty because it doesn’t restrict those already in the club. He isn’t supporting UN sanctions against Iran over the nuclear question, that’s what is being depicted. That’s Hillary Clinton with the pesticide spray can. She had been pressuring Brazil for its support.
