    Great cartoon.

HUMAN - You are right, but voting is (sadly) the very least we can do. It is also the most we can do.

Not exactly true human. During the election Karl Rove once said that McCain was going to pull ahead at the last second, meaning that he and diebold were gonna fix the election. It would have worked if it wasn’t for the fact that turn outs were larger than expected. He came back later to say McCain is done. So maybe voting in numbers keeps voter fraud in check.

Those who do not vote abrogate their right to speak. (Especially when it’s just whining when ‘their side” loses!)

Only two elections where I didn’t vote were the 2006 federals and 2006 provincials…I was in Moncton at the time and was to lazy to complete the paperwork to change my elector card from “Acadie-Bathurst/Tracadie-Sheila” resident to “Moncton-Dieppe-Riverview/Moncton East” resident…

They organized a debate on campus between the candidates and I went, though.

Bruce I agree with you 100%! I think it is safe to say in the founding fathers day the populace was passionate about voting. Sad to see all the apathy these days.
