Bush knew he was a good guy in his soul, should he be on that smaller pedestal for history to at least record, even if he’s stepped off the stage and out of sight?
In physics there’s the little thing of cause and effect. In world politics it’s the same rule applied, “W” was the cause, and years later, in Iraq, Afghanistan, Ukraine, and around much of the world, the arrogant, “we’ll do it alone” attitude of the Bush administration folks destroyed relations with most of those countries. The drumbeat from the right against anything “Russian”, not just Putin, has been going on since Joe McCarthy, so the past was prelude, and we still seem to be in Act I, and can’t move on to Act II, let alone Act III to end the play.

forgot the bridge to china. hopefully they distrust each other enough to avoid a trip back to the 50/60’s.
