Bacon: the Fruit of the Swine
You’re missing ramps and truffles.
There always seems to be leftover veggies after a meal but I have never seen a piece of bacon left on the plate.
Tomatoes in season in May and June? Not here in New England.
They forgot chocolate…
I usually get my first tomatoes around July 4th (plant in early May). I can keep getting them until the first hard frost. One year, I picked my last ones the day before Thanksgiving.
Me, if I’m going to keep track of bacon and tomatoes, I’m gonna want to know about the lettuce, too. #missedopportunity
