    Bruce: Hmmm, I didn’t think so and since I’m no geologist, I looked it up! But no, the Chile earthquake was along the Nazca faultline where the oceanic plate, Nazca and the South American plate, a continental plate, rubbed against each other; while the Haitian quake was along the ”Enriquillo-Plantain Garden Fault”

    ^ At the time of the Haitian one didn’t “they” predict another one was building up off Sumatra, bigger than last year’s? I guess they were right after all! (sort of, not as big though)
