Lucy: Uh-oh...now what?
Danae: My teacher sent me home with something for daddy.
Lucy: Another letter asking him to come in for a conference?
Danae: No, worse... ...A sympathy card.
Lucy: Oh, I like her! *giggle*
Danae: Oh, shut up.
I used to work in Quark (but, alas, had to join the PC world…): there was a certain sequence finger command and then suddenly ‘Quark Man’ appeared and walked across the page. But for the life of me I cannot remember how to do it – can you help me??
@ 1MadHat “Oh, I like her!” in today’s toon is exactly what I thought, just a few minutes ago, when I read your post from yesterday. Then I see the same thing here. Funny!
this still doesn’t address the issue of students with a lower gpa having the interest in such a class or the potential to excel in comic art. i have known such an individual.

Good thing the teacher does not know about the horse or else the card would an invitation to a shrink’s office instead.

@Night-Gaunt49: read the post more carefully. May Kitten is teaching kids on Saturdays @ the Salvation Army…nothing to do with “school” per se…..

Too much attention is given to making A and B students even better.C & D students are the ones who really need the help.

I’ve seen your appeal to the various comics writers. You might also leave one on Glasbergen Cartoons. He reads and replies to comments.
