Meteorólogos don’t predict the weather, Tía Carmen. They just read the doppler radar which tells what the weather will be be according to Mother Nature’s handiwork.
According to the usually unreliable sources, the weather today will be filled with the usual forecasts of doom. Any errors in this prediction will be blamed on computers.
“….and the radar is picking up a line of Russian ICBM’s, so I wouldn’t sweat the weather.” George Carlin used to do a routine as Al Sleet, the Hippy-Dippy weatherman and this was near the end of the joke. His forecast for tonight was something like “Dark with increasing light by the morning.
“Meteorologist” my left foot…My aching knee can predict weather as well as some of these idiots on TV, and can probably read better than some of ‘em too…
