I was the customer service guy for a small company. I’d been crapped on myself so prided myself on being helpful. It seemed to work. I actually had one guy call back a few days later and thank me.
A few years ago, I needed some work don on our house. After several calls to several different companies with answering machines, I finally reached someone with blood cursing through their veins, and gave them the job..When the gal who took the call asked me why I picked their company for the work, I replied, “Because you answered the phone!”

As long as they don’t play Muzak in my ear..Spare me the shopping aisle/elevator versions of“Don’t Worry..Be Happy”….(ear worm)
