The founding Fathers were attempting to wrest control of the colonies from self serving tyranists that taxed them heavily and gave them very little in return.

Today Obama and his personal entourage of tyrannists want to take over 1/6th of our economy and make it work for their special interests.

The founding Fathers believed in Capitalism and charity was voluntary. Obama, Pelosi and Reid all inherently distrust capitalism and believe Charity starts with taxing wealth away from the Industrious so they can dole it out to the indolent to curry favor with voters.

Imagine supporting the citizens of America instead of people who make money from magic.

Wow, I guess subsidies for lower/middle class families’ healthcare is “take over 1/6th of our economy and make it work for their special interests”.

Right. Because big pharma and insurers never, ever gave money to the GOP.

Never had money. I grew up with the riches of good soil, plentiful wood for heat and a close family and community. We ran electric for the freezer and got indoor plumming in 1972. I feel blessed and hope the rest of this country can revert to those better times. It amazes me that other people expect me to live to their standards. Good luck….

Imagine a country that keeps its Religion out of its laws and doesn’t stick specific rules in its laws to ban marriage between people of different races or sex (while allowing people with one foot in the grave to marry spring chickens or committed felons and child molesters to marry who they want) simply because of their interpretation of a book. That doesn’t allow its people to be removed or barred from their jobs or their homes because of a person’s prejudice. That allows someone to serve their country… to take a bullet or bomb for their country honorably without asking who they sleep with and doesn’t kick them out if it disagrees.

    Imagine…

Imagine a country that supports the banks and big businesses so they can rise on their own accord and get bailed out if they fall. Imagine a country that lowers taxes and tries to fight two wars the same time so the execs can keep even more of their profits and bonuses. Imagine a country that finally elects someone to fix the mess and then a noisy minority of radio fans have a tea party to call him names and complain and blame him for his predecessor’s follies and catastrophes.

I’ll wager every state that offers vanity tags has an IMAGINE tag registered…

Imagine if Mark David Chapman simply had a squirt gun that day….

harleyquinn you needn’t imagine–the country you describe is your land and my land.

And the guy in the shirt is the CEO of AIG, going to use his tax kicker bonus to run for Congress?

Imagine if John Hinkley Jr had a squirt gun, or on the opposite, a grenade?

Would Lisa also explain who can afford a nanny? Would that be the guy flipping burgers, or those corporate execs and CEOs?

Look at the earmarks in Congress. Benson really should have said: Can I have my oil depletion alowance… and my land bank subsidies for not farming… and my tax breaks for my new car company… and my guaranteed $40 billion bonus… and some spending money for that bridge to nowhere.
