    “Mugabe’s supporters say they spent US$300,000 to celebrate his 86th birthday” …which is the same as what I think they spent last year on his 85th. At least they’re not spending more :-|

    “The Chinese Embassy gave a cake the size of a large TV…” …which probably bought them a 99 year leasehold on mining rights somewhere.

    ”We have to celebrate our leader, who’s now 86. How many people reach that age?”

    According to the U.N. : Average life expectancy is about 44 in Zimbabwe.

    Think that’s because they’re dying off from starvation and/or illness because Mugabe takes all the money.

    My god why is it that dictators get to be this old and still mobile. i mean even castro has basically retired but this guy is still going strong.
