Apparently he has enough money to go to a coffeehouse though, unless Frank is buying. Fortunately I’ve never dated one of these, but I’ve heard plenty of stories. Such as never admitting he lives at home (no, your mom is not really a “female roommate”), or that they don’t have the most desirable job (“sanitation engineer”).
@dropping.beans - he’s just spinning his current unfortunate situation so that it doesn’t sound so bad. Because he has no car, he takes long walks, and because he has no power/lights, he eats dinner by candlelight.
