I just can’t see Opal buying KFC….bet she frys her own fresh just cut-up chicken. But, the roots and wings line was good….will use that on my grandkids my next chicken fry. Want good carrots? Slice and boil in water with salty seasoned crab boil mix and sugar. It’s like sweet and spicy carrot seafood.
Do people really still eat KFC? Their chicken farm tortures the chickens. I buy better tasting fried chicken in my supermarket deli, but nothing beats Mom’s fried chicken.

I heard that it was to reduce the negative perceptions of its brand image as consumers were becoming more health conscious. KFC states that people were calling it KFC anyway, so they rebranded for that reason. Personally, no matter what their official position is, I think it was to reduce the negative perceptions of the brand at the time.

Popeye or KFC extra crispy. Original recipe just tastes like fat and salt.
