My husband claims crickets don’t make noise, because he can’t hear them. (He also has a high-frequency hearing loss.) Then he wonders why I’ll get up in the middle of the night with a flashlight & a shoe hunting the one who dares to disturb my sleep!
My floaters, when I’ve had them were multicolored. I haven’t had them lately because I seldom strain my eyes. BTW,
Has anyone else had trouble this morning over at Comics.com? I was making my 2nd comment of the day and ran into a 404, now I can’t see ANY ‘toons there, or comments. I emailed them but just got the automated reply;-(
Comics.com has been agonizingly slow (or inaccessible with a “404” error) since the 14th. Sounds like they had a server problem - maybe lost one or more of them and are overwhelmed by users. Took me an hour to get through the last three days of my favorites.
Better get those crickets out of the house. We had crickets in our basement & they ate my cotton chenille bedspread. I left it on the floor for a couple of days in front of the washer & when I picked it up a couple of crickets fell out, so after washing it I had several big holes in it.

I’m pretty used to my black floaters now, but in the summer I will still often swat at bugs that aren’t there.
