Go downstairs and get a nice Italian dinner and bring that up and put the cat in another room with the door closed. If you parents ask why Italian food tell them what happened.
First Thanksgiving after my ex & I broke up I had frozen pizza for dinner. Better than spending the day with a lot of my relatives.
A couple of years later, a college friend & his wife started inviting me over for Thanksgiving & Christmas. My second family, and much better than a lot of my relatives.

I’m not sure how effective it might be… but I would at least try… to cut away where Lulu has been eating and cook it like that in tinfoil…
