Caesar: Is there anyone who still doesn't think deep down that the President didn't lie about Iraq? Huey: Yeah... The same people who think Sarah Jessica Parker actually shops at the Gap.
It was always obvious to the few thinking citizens that conflating atomic, chemical and biological weapons with the phrase “weapons of mass destruction” was salesmanship. Chemical and biological weapons are frightening but much less reliable and destructive than conventional weapons. Think of the sarin attack in the Tokyo subway and the anthrax attacks. Atomic weapons orders of magnitude more powerful than conventional weapons; the flattening of Hiroshima and killing and maiming of its citizens was done with a bomb much less destructive than what we have now.
