That joke wouldn’t work today – a joke about President Dumpy using a CD burner would fall flat. No one is going to believe that Dumpy could possibly figure out how to use a CD burner in the first place. It’s like a joke about a half-witted lemur trying to make a sandwich … it’s just too unbelievable to have the groundwork to be funny.
