I had a Brussels Griffon that loved to raid the trash until the day I caught him at it, finally!! I put all the trash back in the can, then I put him in the can with the lid propped so he could get air and left him in there for half an hour. He whined the entire time, but I didn’t give in until the half hour was up. I was really tired of cleaning up after his raids. He never raided a trash can again.
