I think we should send John over there and withdraw everyone else. I suspect they won’t put him on TV. We have had 50 years of unsuccessful wars, time to rethink the strategy.
That is the most ridiculous blather I have ever heard. OUR DUTY? Why don’t you try the Iraqi peoples duty. We have left them with more than enough resources to govern themselves if they only have the backbone. And you should try to remember what country you live in before you send my kids to die.
We’ve done this kind of thing before, inventing a government for another country, propping it up when it can’t get the support of enough of the population to govern, making a big show of insisting that it become more inclusive, then using military force to try to keep it in power. Please, let’s not do this again.
