Watched “Forrest Gump” with some other employees at a field station, only two of us were in ‘Nam. The ambush/firefight scene at the paddy dike was well done, too well done for Willy and I. (flashback time) but you don’t roller skate in a buffalo herd, or run away from napalm too close.
Given Forres’s devotion to friends, courage, and innate intelligence actually, that made him rich in the end, I’d take him any day over another Bush, or any of the potential pachyderm herd that’s running this year, or might in 2016!
