I recall my folks having used to have some kind of garden hose attachment to the tailpipe to give carbon monoxide to moles and gophers leaving their mounds in the yard.
In my lawn and garden business, we actually sold a product to use with the lawn mower to kill mosquitos. Later we had a product powered by propane and it sold quite well.People will resort to almost anything to rid themselves of pesky Minnesota mosquitos…

Mine doesn’t smoke, but leaks oil like crazy. After a half hour on the road, people know I’m present by the smell of burning oil on the exhaust.
