The attacks on a POW, held captive for five years by terrorists, are just disgusting. Now it’s “we shouldn’t have saved our own soldier, because his Dad has the wrong religion.” These so-called conservatives need to think about what it would feel like to have THEIR religion treated like scum.
Just a note: take away the two “doctored” documents Rather was condemned for, out of the multiple totally factual documents, records, and witness statements regarding "W"’s desertion from the National Guard of Texas, and you’ve got WAY MORE evidence against “W”, than anything at hand in the moment to condemn Burgdahl. Yes, from the first I regarded him as a deserter, but I still wanted to know his rationale before totally condemning him.
Speaking of condemnation, the “righties” who defended him until his release, and now only seize on the chance to attack Obama, the real target of their psychotic level of hatred, deserve the “hypocrisy of the century” award.
Wow, the Veterans’ health scandal went away. Shinseki was fired, implementing the entire Republican/Fox “news” viewer agenda for improving the situation.-So, I guess the problem is fixed, thanks to the Republicans. No need for increased funding any more. -Another success story for the GOP.
