My kids were never allowed to have “toy” guns, and were taught that ALL guns are loaded, and ready to kill. When they were old enough, I taught them both to shoot, and shoot well. My daughter was better with pistol and rifle than her brother, he was better with a shotgun, clays and birds. He spent a number of years with an elite force, primarily supporting and training them, and was a better marksman than they.
It’s more the psychology behind firearms and their use in this country, than the weapons themselves. The toon is speaking to that.
