DAVE – And you do what Republicans do best, take something that was never said, claim it is the truth, and then scream about it.

Enough with the meaningless labels. I would like for a representative of uncomprimised character to state what s/he believes would be best without selling out to special interests. I can’t think of one person in any party. So I hope the Republican guy wins, although I know little about him. It makes it more possible to have a discussion between equals without one group controlling the subject and outcome.

The results are in. It turns out it IS “The People’s Seat”. Mr. Stantis, the cherubim are a nice touch. :)

Well, oldie, guess the Republicans “stole” it, as that seems to be the only way elections are decided. One guy is hardly a reversal of all politics in the U.S.. I do agree with Imajs- anyone who says they’ll only follow a party line, should not be elected to office. Integrity and intelligence to act for the PEOPLE, not just oneself, is important. Teddy’s votes for health reform, despite attacks and calls for excommunication, proves he WAS thinking outside the “box”.

Like Asay’s toon, it would just make sense if the democrats tried to cancel the election and impose (note; IMPOSE, not vote) a democrat without a vote. Still waiting for that to happen.
