I remember selling quite a bit of silver during the mid to late 70s while the Hunt Brothers were trying to corner the silver market. I had some friend who were collecting exposed x-ray film to collect the silver nitrate from the film. A few of them made thousands with this “recycling” project.Of course, by the end of the 70s, the market collapsed and silver began a rapid decline in value. I and a few others were lucky; others, not so much!
