Tell your REPUBLICAN Congressperson to actually support VA with adequate funding. The VA DOES do a pretty good job in most areas, given what they have NOT been given to work with, by “penny pinchers” in Congress. (The same ones who don’t pinch, but THROW AWAY dollars, trillions of dollars over a decade, to the Military Industrial Complex, and continual small wars to support it!! And screw the vets.)

I think he’s refering to the combat veterans; you know, those who voluteered to defend our country, and were pushed into very hellish situations to protect the property and interests of Exxon-Mobil and friends! Once they return “home”, they are now longer needed, or cared for. Even as the V.A. helps as many as they can, they are under-funded. Many of our veterans need help to re-adjust, and not only congress, but these huge multi-national corporations, who benefit from their service, simply don’t give ……I posted this before. Someone in congress should introduce a bill to exact a sur-charge on the profits of these corporations, and increase the funding of not only the V.A., but fund many of the private, non-profit groups who offer assistance. EVERY member of congress, no matter what his/her party affiliation, should vote for it.
