I’ve had mixed feelings about the POW/MIA, especially MIA for over four decades, partly because I knew one guy who went MIA the last I heard, while he took off for Thailand with his Vietnamese wife the Army wouldn’t let him bring home. POW issue definitely disturbs me, as folks like McCain prove the effects of such imprisonment on folks, and hmm, it’s why I find our actions on Guantanamo (and in those “other camps overseas”) so despicable.
