    In the late ’60’d and early ’70’s there was big complaints that Asian countries weren’t buying enough American iron, when we started importing theirs. It wasn’t noted that big American made cars couldn’t fit on their narrower roads! Was reminded when my son was in Guam and they couldn’t take Humvees a lot of places, because they couldn’t fit through. Check out some of Rick Steves’ stories on European small towns as well.

    Everything “bigger” isn’t always “better”, including trade deficits caused by our not producing what other people CAN USE?
