^^^Most Americans want it, so yes, too bad.Just like a new highway, not everybody’s going to like the path it takes, but Eminent Domain supersedes feelings. It will be approved right after the November elections. That way Barry doesn’t offend some of his Big-Money special interests before then. Gotta keep the money pipeline open.

Trans Canada claiming eminent domain to seize property rights from private landowners is the perfect example of Benitos’s “Fascism”. Only a few long term jobs relate to the pipeline, mostly involved in EXPORTING the refined materials, and keeping only the hazardous wastes here at home. Yep, a great program indeed!

BTW, that “clean” natural gas the lady says we’re number one in production of now, is also destined for EXPORT as the Ruby pipeline is now in plans to be extended to Coos Bay to make it LNG and ship it to China and elsewhere.

<No matter who loses, Koch, Halliburton (Cheney), BP, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, GE, and others — win…

^You could make a list of accidents from use of anything. How long would the list be of electrical fires and electrocutions from the use of electricity? What is your alternative? Retire to the cave where accidents, injuries, and deprivation will also occur?

I’m from Canada and they told us that we would pay cheaper for gas if we exploited the tar sands, too. Trouble is, none of that oil belongs to the country it came from, it belongs to the company that exploits it so yes, the oil our people go to work for is being sent overseas while eastern Canada has to import foreign oil.

With current capitalism, the very idea of “country” is purely decorative, it means nothing except for propaganda purposes (i.e., to sell you ideas like this).
