Why is it we humans seem compelled to take every good occasion and turn it into a pagan Roman ritual?
The key is to use a tiny amount of olive oil and keep the sauteed veggies crisp – works great with baby brussel sprouts, thinly sliced mushrooms, green peppers, summer squash (oops – not in season now)
