Saw a brief comment from the son on TV today. He does NOT seem to be looking forward to the “opportunity”. It would be nice, for the Koreans and the world, if he’d check out and the personality cult would be replaced by even a step forward by a new government.
dtroutma, he’d be foolish to do so before his father died, because he would probably be disappeared. And after he takes the reins of power, there’s no saying it won’t go to his head. But you’re right, that would be remarkable for North Korea.
