    And let’s remember that 56,000,000 people voted for McCain/Palin. They need to be represented by our President as well or we may very well see a backlash.

    My hope is that the Obama presidency does in in fact create an environment of problem solving at the expense of politicking rather than the same old same old.

    The story will unfold before too long…and we as Americans need to keep both the Dems and the Repubs oriented on solving OUR problems rather than THEIRs.

    curiosity1, good point but sadly a lot of those 56 mil whill have to be dragged in the 21st centry all the while kicking and screaming.

    I honestly believe Obama will do everything he can to serve ALL American Citizens. The problem will be the negative attitude of many of the 56,000,000 who whisper gleefully of assassination plots and continue to mumble about the lies, exaggerated “associations”, and other mud thrown at the President-elect during the campaign. Let’s all try to be open-minded and give the man a chance.

    Humph - I suspect about half of that 56MM want to move forward (on a different path than the dems), but a good many of the rest would just as soon drag us all back to the 16th century with the evangelical churches taking the place of the Roman Catholic one…
