I guess protectionism will hurt Canada’s economy as well as it will help the US.
But if closing the boundaries will be good for america (I think it will), it’s only fair that Canada does the same.
Let’s take this scenario: Republicans say that cutting taxes will influence job creation. Let’s investigate this notion:
You are a small business. You own a restaurant with 20 tables. You have customers at two tables and 18 empty tables every night. Then, your taxes get cut. Bonus for you, right? What do you do with that extra money? Hire more people? To do what? You only have two customers every night.
