Lalo nailed it, why do you care. People that ridicule other people faiths, especially when they are not harming you, are always the ones that will be crying for a god when they are old and dying.

It matters because it is not only a shame but also unacceptable when nonsense can substitute for fact with impunity.

Cockroaches?Joshua:6:21: “And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.”

What have oxen, sheep and donkeys done to YHWH?

@OlongapojoeAs if invoking a deity helps. Ask if tsumani victims or of the Black Plague of old didn’t to which avail? Christopher Hitchens while dying did not ask for divine intervention…

And there are always religious people waiting next to the death bed of a dying atheist like vultures just to see them falter. And that’s what you said is just a misconception, because we have lived all our life without needing a god, just like a real adult should do it, and the religious are alway praying and weeping asking god for forgiveness and before the first difficulty they face in their lives are praying to get help in anything like little kids, even to tie their shoes.

It’s always amusing that those who denigrate religion clearly know nothing about it. And like it that way..That’s why your comments are as irrelevant to some of us as religion is to you.

@kaffekupI don’t denigrate religions. I just can’t believe in fairy tales. Rome had a Pontifex Maximus long before the Israelites came on the scene.
