    Oh they want one alrigt, ask any advertising agency working for the industry. Try comparing advertising with tha oter costs of production.

    Advertising or no, people tend to buy what they want to drive, not what someone else thinks they SHOULD want to drive.

    There are plenty of car makers if American cars aren’t to your liking, buy a morris mini (or one of that ilk).

    Bydyn, could be but an ex-family member is in auto sales. Be surprised how people can be convinced that they just can’t live without this or that vehicle and … what a deal they can make. Yup my vehicle is small but that doesn’t make it the best buy for everyone.

    If people buy so much big cars, why are the big three in trouble…oh, yes, UAW! They make all that annoying snow, too!

    I think oil prices were held artificially low for many years so Detroit could move their high-profit heavy metal models. Dollars put the duct tape on the futurist engineers.
