Oblivious to history are we Michael? Without the infusion of Czech equipment the Germans pre-Munich would have 3 less panzer divisions, and couldn’t have mobilized about a third of the divisions they did on the outbreak of war due to lack of equipment.Britain and France would still be about as strong as they were as would be the Polish military.Chain Home existed in 1939 too.
Who cares what they would or wouldn’t do? They aren’t the President. Just like any other crisis, the President is going to come up with a plan. Some will support it. Some will criticize it. Regardless of who may or may not be correct, both sides have the right to voice their opinion. Which is what Lester is doing. Sorry, but I’m not sure I get the basis of your objection.
It’s so nice that the complex geopolitics of Ukraine, Russia and the rest of the world provide orgasmic fodder for right wing quacks, who get to both wet their pants with fantasies of war with Russia AND make fun of Obama for not invading Russia and starting a nuclear war. How fun for them.
Ah. I can understand better where you are coming from in that light. Thank you.
I have to say I don’t honestly agree. I still think Lester or the posters here have a right to offer criticism without having to necessarily have a five year plan in place. Just as I would say the left would have were the situations reversed.
@Robert Lander. What color is the sky in your world? It’s obviously not blue or do you honestly not remember the left hanging Bush in effigy and the endless Chimpy McHitler jokes?
I’m sure that there are a number of posters here, both ‘left’ and ‘right’, who think every character they type in is the breath of truth and height of intellect. Just because someone is saying something you want to hear doesn’t mean the idea is good though.
But regardless…Obama is paid to be President. As was Bush. So yeah. I expect them to be able to come up with better ideas. And yeah. I expect people to criticize them. That’s part of the job and political process.
And really I’m tired of the ‘well Bush did…’ diatribes. Bush was an awful president. Obama is a couple of steps better, granted. But that just moves him from awful to terrible.
Romney tried to teach Obama that the main threat was Putin, so I think Mitt would have shown a little more leadership. McCain was a war hero, and that speaks to his leadership.

Now if the Community Agitator and the MSM can keep this “crisis” going until after the elections, the people may not remember about Obamacare…

Many posters would also call Jesus a “Neville Chamberlain”. But they love him, or so they say. Cognitive dissonance, anyone?

Jesus did NOT give into the devil

I had thought Lisa Benson wrote the dumbest panels on here, but I think now it might be Mike Lester.
