Any doctor who does not acknowledge the failure of the pre-ACA health care system is either willfully ignorant or downright stupid. Dr. Paul is not to be trusted on this issue.
As I have stated before, I do not believe the correct answer is Obamacare. However, a change MUST occur; we cannot continue to flounder in a broken system. One would think a doctor would be better capable of evaluating and remediating than what Dr. Paul chooses to show.
^^^Congratulations on being poor.Meanwhile, everybody I know who works for a living, is seeing huge increases to their health insurance premiums OR their company is dropping health benifits altogether and forcing them to get a crappy government approved plan.Good job Barry!
Absolutely true. Scary, but true. But this is the natural result of a system that rewards quantity and speed over treating the patient. It is expedient to just write a script and not break stride on the way to the next exam room. Again, the system is broken, and this is just one example of the way it is.
Also, Big Pharma keeps score. I can treat many maladies without resorting to Rx, and I do. As a result, I get almost no free samples, and none of the benefits/perks. I don’t care about golf outings; I don’t miss them. Others…..well, we all have our priorities
“My new plan costs $500 /month more than the previous plan, and my primary care physician, my cardiologist and another specialist I was seeing are all out of network. And my deductibles are more than twice what they were under my previous plan (which was a very good one)”. -———————————————————————So other than those pesky little details (lol), everything is great with Obamacare, right!
