Not the same at all.I’m sick of people who like a certain kind of activity comparing themselves to the Black Civil Rights struggle.

Concupiscence and fornication is rampant in the NFL anyway. I don’t see that Mr. Sam’s particular type of illicit behavior is news. I want to hear more about the pro athlete that loves his wife (her husband), cultivates morality in his/her children, and is a model for humanity to follow. Alas, we are all sinners, but we should be ashamed of it, not celebrate it.

I thought that was Republicans and Tea Baggers who had their own reality: tax breaks to the wealthy and making the Poor starve to death will balance the budget.

Judging by the comments on this thread, methinks that talking bust is right.

agreed with evil: “I agree with you and the other ‘conservatives’. Comparing a sex act to a race is just too far fetched.”

Being homosexual isn’t just about sex.

On another topic you raised: no, I don’t usually use any other avatar. I did have a change shortly after Mandela’s death and a few years ago I had one of my daughter aged about 3 seemingly holding up a bomb by her hand (Berlin Museum). That was in response to bellicose fervour on the forum at the time. That answer your question?

Question for you though: How does one play violently sportmanly? You said: “I mean it just wasn‘t a good season if a few first string quarterbacks weren’t out permanently or at least for the rest of the season” Being sarcastic there, human?

This thread is so sad. You all choose to undermine the advancement of a civil right struggle solely because what again? Gays were not sold into slavery? They don’t wear their sexuality on their skins? So, your history of discrimination has to be the exact same or as bad as someone deems necessary in order for you to be worthy of rights and positive acknowledgement in society? The answer is no. For all of you who want to see gays bleed in order to be worthy of positive media attention for social advancements, we gays have bled and cried enough, and we don’t owe you ignorant haters one more drop of blood or tears. You can take your disingenuous comparisons to the black civil rights movement as justification to continue prejudicing against gays and bury them in the dirt where they belong. Gay people are citizens, being gay is not a choice just as being predominately heterosexual is not a choice, and if you are incapable of empathy and kindness and respect, then just keep your fingers off of your keyboard.
