    Life would be easier for you if you just learned the history, though.

    Trust someone who’s studied history; it’s actually a bit surprising how much stuff we could’ve avoided in our modern history if we had just remembered our past history, because there is a surprising degree of repetition of like events.

    For those who wondered: Sunday’s strip is finally up. Tech glitches, which I’m told affected a number of strips, kept it offline all day yesterday.

    It’s been said that no matter what you say (we’ll ignore “how to make a transistor”), some Roman soldier said it on a battlefield someplace about 2,000 years ago….

    Meantime, learn whatever you can, whenever you can. It can’t hurt, and you never know what you’ll need, or when.
