I declare, judge him not, & do-or-die. And top it all off with “disparagus remarks”…Classic!

And the consecutive streak featuring Walt is broken. I was so anxious to see him on Sunday that I stayed up late Saturday to see the comic. Oh, well. Maybe the weeklies will continue with his story.

And you’ve gotta love Rufus talking about “Mr. Jim”!

Say, isn’t that a ‘58 Pontiac in the first panel? And there’s no mistaken for the Caddy in the 3rd panel!

Ya know, I often miss Dick Moore’s subtle characterizations…but Scancarelli is second to no one in his draftsmanship. Still love this comic.

This was good. I enjoyed it very much, but I can’t wait to get back to Walt and his reminisces.

I don’t know if anyone will see this so late on Sunday, but the Tomah, Wisconsin quote is cute. Tomah is the place where Frank King lived much of his life.

Note: Tomah, Wisc., the hometown of Frank King, creator of the strip.

“I was wrong about the Pontiac Bonneville.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Well Adrian, it takes a big man to admit a mistake on GoComics, but I’ll have to admit Jim led us both down the garden path with that row of lights across the back window. That definitely WAS a trademark of the Chevvy Impala, but them vertical taillights…..eew !>grin<

OBTW, did anyone notice my old ‘82 Mercury Lynx sticking out in the last panel? I got 87,000 miles out that thing at 35 mpg on the road. Better’n today’s struggle-buggies, fershure!
