Temporal wormhole or cyclic universe. This Kali Yuga can’t go on much longer. Only foxed copies of Highlights for Children and Redbook will survive into the next cycle.

My late father was a Dentist. Mom used to buy all kinds of comic books, and we subscribed to about everything worthwhile in the 50’s and thereafter.

Us kids would read what we wanted, and they’d go to the office.

I don’t recall any from the 19th Century, but somebody did clean out the pile (due to wear) once in a while.

I believe, however, that Cleopatra’s doctor probably had copies of “The Adventures of Khufu” in his office…. I’m sure the tradition was a LOT older….

Used to like Highlights For Children, too. All kinds of “save scrap for the War Effort”…. WWII, I presume….

(Dad had some copies of “Stars & Stripes” from WWII, btw. Very interesting.)
